Jean is a long-time member of Immanuel—her father was a pastor here from 1945-1959. Jean plays the pipe organ beautifully and directs the choir as she accompanies them on the piano. Jean also coordinates all special music. Poetry is another of her special gifts, and she uses it to God’s glory by writing many of the verses the choir sings.

Also, Choir director and general music production minister of our congregation for over 60 years. At age 91 she is still going strong and plays for both the regular worship service on organ and the praise team on piano. She has played for hundreds of worship services, weddings and funerals over her time with our congregation. She is a great example of what being called to a specific ministry really is all about.
